These eco-friendly coiled mats use up bits and pieces of leftover fabric--this one is made from tropical blues and greens with a splash of black and white. To make each one, I wrap strips of fabric around cording, then coil it and stitch it together. Each one is unique and fun!

Birds do the Strangest Things Rebound Journal

Part of my Rebound Journal series, the covers are from a vintage children's book “Birds do the Strangest Things” by Leonora and Arthur Hornblow (1965).

Covers have retained their original endpapers, birds in flight on a clear blue sky. Bound with waxed linen thread using a double needle coptic binding leaving a lovely chain stitch on the spine. The inside is filled with a generous 196 pages (counting both sides), of reclaimed off-white office paper.
