Foodie Friday: Tasty Shortbread Cookies


A little taste of heaven with these melt-in-your-mouth Shortbread Cookies.





Ingredients:

1 cup Softened Butter
¾ cup Icing Sugar
¼ cup of Cornstarch 
1 ½ cups of Flour
1 tsp Almond Extract
½ cup Skor Bits: You can substitute for this with whatever you like (almonds, mini chocolate chips, etc)

Directions:

Whip butter with an electric mixer until fluffy. Stir in the confectioners sugar, cornstarch and flour. Beat on low and add in topping of choice. Place on baking sheets about 2 inches apart.

Bake at 375˚F for 12-15 minutes. Watch that the edges don't brown too much.
